building material of interest potentially meets the requirements for the regional material credits
that can be acquired within the National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) ICC-700 2008 National
Green Building Standard or the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® Standards. To qualify for the
regional credit, these standards require that the building material is manufactured, extracted,
harvested or recovered within a 500 mile radius of the project site.
