As a framing material for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, Hem Fir lumber is valued for its strength, versatility and ease of use. Hem Fir is light in color varying from a creamy, nearly white to a light, straw-brown color. Its fiber characteristics are ideally suited for the load-bearing and load carrying requirements of residential and light commercial construction in addition to providing outstanding pressure-treating performance.

Weyerhaeuser’s Hem Fir lumber is manufactured at our mill in Raymond, Washington. Our bright 4-Square™ Hem Fir Select Structural and Premium grades are desired by treaters and high-end builders who appreciate the manufacturing quality and appearance. Our MSR and 2BTR grades are popular with truss plants and dealers.
